“As a passionate youth activist, I had the privilege of participating in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and Climate Week NYC this year. Both events placed a significant spotlight on the imperative of transforming food systems, and it was truly heartening to listen to leaders and influencers from across the world reaffirm the critical importance of fostering sustainable, equitable, and resilient changes on a global scale. However, amid this optimism, a sense of caution naturally lingered, echoing the sentiment shared by many youth leaders – that lofty commitments are often easier to articulate than to actualise.”
