Huddle: What is Impact Investing

Investment in projects that drive meaningful positive change – or ‘impact investment’ – may still yet be in its infancy, but savvy investors are gradually waking up to the opportunities it brings. In this huddle, Future Food Movement’s impact investing expert and co-founder of Pelican AG, Simon Evill, explores how investing in regenerative agriculture brings benefits to people and planet, as well as profit. 

“We all have a looming sense of dread when it comes to climate,” Simon begins. “So the question many people ask is, ‘What can we do that’s practical?’ The answer is impact investing, or more specifically, investing in regenerative agriculture to create a truly sustainable food system.”
