Founder of award winning sustainability and food systems consultancy Veris Strategies and Future Food Movement, working with food industry leaders from across the value chain from retailers through to brands and manufacturers, helping them drive action on climate and realise the co-benefits of health, planetary wellbeing and overall sustainability. Kate’s mission is to make food a positive ally to a world that’s on fire by energising the business of food, where every job is now a climate job.

Moderator and Business Transformation Coach, Future Food Movement

Mike was Director of Sustainable Business at M&S helping develop, implement and evolve its ground-breaking sustainability program, Plan A (because there is no Plan B for the one planet we have). Today he’s consulting across the economy with organisations big and small, private and public.

CEO Cool Farm Alliance, Professor of Practice Nottingham University Business School, Co-Founder & Director Realise Earth & Sustain Interaction

Richard is the CEO of the Cool Farm Alliance, a not-for-profit industry collaboration seeking to create a global food and agriculture system that builds soil carbon, mitigates climate change and allows for the restoration of ecological balance.

He holds an MSc in Sustainability & (Business) Responsibility, with 27 years of experience drawn from international operational roles in the Food & Beverages industry and the British Army. He has participated in several wilderness expeditions taking him to Africa, the Bolivian Andes and the North Pole.

Richard is a Professor of Practice at Nottingham University Business School bringing sustainability insights to the school operations and education programmes. In his consulting work through Realise Earth and Sustain Interaction, he supports organisations to catalyse leadership to engage and deliver meaningful sustainability strategies. His work is based on deep democracy, systemic leadership, collaboration and action learning.
