Rebecca started her career within the fresh produce industry on the G’s Farm Graduate Trainee Scheme. She then moved to work for the National Farmers Union, where Rebecca worked closely with farmers to represent them locally, going on to work as part of the NFU EU Exit and International Trade Team, representing the UK farming industry nationally and internationally. She joined the John Lewis Partnership in 2019 as the Sustainability and Ethics Manager, Fresh Produce. Through this role, she continues to work closely with suppliers and farmers to implement Waitrose & Partner’s ethics and sustainability standards and support them to achieve the stretching ambitions laid out in their Agriculture Strategy.
