James has worked in the commercial team at Tesco for all of his 17-year career starting on the graduate scheme. In his time he has worked across the majority of the food categories with a focus on fresh and agriculture. Working for over 10 years in meat, produce and dairy places him well to understand the challenges, and help devise strategies to a zero carbon future at this critical part of the food supply chain. James is currently Category Director for bakery, dairy and local.
