I was introduced to OLIO a few months after its inception in 2015 and I've been part of the team ever since.
I've supported the company's expansion, from a few hundred users in North London to over 5 million users globally.
My focus has shifted between international expansion, partnerships, special projects, and most recently impact. After instigating OLIO communities in Sweden, California and Mexico, I am now focussing on developing new revenue models while setting up strategic partnerships to accelerate company growth.
Over the past 7 years, I have participated in the creation of a global food sharing movement. We now have over 5 million users who have successfully shared over 43.1 million portions of food, in 62 countries.
Having recently closed a $43 million series B, we are growing our team and our ambition at a very fast pace, deploying ever more resources towards making consumption better and reducing the amount of food that is being wasted in the home and the local community.
